THEME: MONTH OF HEAVEN’S ATTENTION AND PROMOTION
_”For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.(Psalm 75:6-7)
Attracting Heaven’s attention and securing divine promotion involves aligning one’s life with God’s purpose, maintaining humility, and operating in obedience. Divine promotion is considered superior to earthly promotion, as it is bestowed by God rather than man and is often designed for His glory.
Key Principles for Attracting Heaven’s Attention
1. Alignment with God’s Agenda: God pays attention when His purposes are reflected in an individual’s life.
2. Heartfelt, Earnest Prayer: Prayer that moves Heaven is that which moves the person praying first, often involving deep emotional connection (e.g., Hannah).
3. Worship and Praise: Worship acts as a system to access God’s “soft spots,” with praise compelling God to act.
4. Worship with Sacrificial Heart: Worship is a means to gain God’s attention, particularly in times of distress, by focusing on His character.
How to Position Yourself for Promotion
1. Maintain Integrity and Purity: Like Joseph and Mary, maintaining godliness in difficult circumstances attracts divine favor.
2. Be Faithful in Small Things: God’s promotion often comes to those who are faithful stewards in their current position.
3. Show Mercy: Matthew 5:7 states that the merciful shall obtain mercy, which brings divine favor.
4. Righteousness and Excellence: Serving with excellence in your current capacity attracts God’s attention and opens doors for higher responsibility.
Prayer points for heaven’s attention & promotion
1. Father, humble me so You can lift me. (1 Peter 5:6)
2. Lord, let Your eyes be on me for good, because I walk in righteousness. (Psalm 34:15)
3. As I praise, come and enthrone Yourself in my situation. (Psalm 22:3)
4. Give me grace to be faithful with little, so You can trust me with much. (Luke 16:10)
5. Let Your timing bring my promotion. No man will block it. (Psalm 75:6-7)
Divine promotion is meant to display God’s power and grace, making you a light of His goodness. Chase God, not the position. When heaven has your attention, you will have heaven’s attention.
This new month, you shall be strengthened, established, and lifted by the hand of the Lord! The month of may shall answer for your good, and you shall rejoice exceedingly
