THEME: ALL ROUND POSSIBILITIES
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” -Luke 1:37
All round possibilities means: financially, maritally, health-wise, career-wise, spiritually – God is not limited to one area.
The above passage of the scripture was the angel Gabriel’s answer to Mary when she asked, “How can this be?” She was talking about birthing Jesus as a virgin. God’s reply was basically: “Mary, I specialize in the impossible.”
3 Keys from “All Round Possibilities
1. The Source of Possibility is God, not circumstances
Mary’s situation had 3 natural impossibilities:
1. She was a virgin – no man involved
2. The timing was wrong – not married yet
3. The promise was too big – Son of God
But (Jeremiah 32:27) says, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
2. “With God” is the condition
The verse doesn’t say “nothing is impossible.” It says “with God nothing is impossible.”
(Matthew 19:26) “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Your part: Believe, obey, wait.
God’s part: Do the impossible. Mary said “I am the Lord’s servant… May your word to me be fulfilled” (Luke 1:38). That is obedience in the face of impossibility.
3. God’s word creates possibility
(Luke 1:37) can also read “no word from God will ever fail.” The moment God speaks a word over your life, possibility is born.
Genesis 1:3 – God said “Let there be light” and darkness had to move.
Ezekiel 37:4 – God said “Prophesy to these bones” and dead things came alive.
How to walk in all-round possibilities today
1. Stop limiting God with your logic – (Isaiah 55:8-9) “My thoughts are not your thoughts.” Mary stopped asking “how” and started saying “be it unto me.”
2. Hold on to God’s word – (Numbers 23:19) “God is not human, that he should lie.” If He said it, He will do it.
3. Stay in the upper room of obedience – Like we saw in Acts 1, the disciples waited in quiet obedience. Possibility is released when you obey.
4. Speak faith, not fear – (Mark 11:23) “If anyone says to this mountain… it will be done for him.”
(Ephesians 3:20) “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Your situation may say “impossible.” Your doctor may say “impossible.” Your bank account may say “impossible.” But God is saying to you with me all things are possible.
You are entering a season where things finally FLOW again.
