We at CHEC are a family of Christians that believe that a healthy church is one comprised of people from different backgrounds and life experiences. From infants to senior citizens, each member is valued and cared for. We are also a family that serves one another through the vast diversity of ministries we offer. That the Holy Bible, consisting of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament, is the inspired Word of God. We take the Bible as final authority in all matters concerning Christian conduct and works.
That the Godhead consists of three separate, distinct, and recognizable personalities and qualities perfectly united in one. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are different Persons in the Godhead, not merely three names for one Person.
The virgin birth of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. The crucifixion, death, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
APOSTLE M. A. BAMIDELE (1929 - 2007)
Michael Adeniyi Bamidele was a former police officer who was miraculously converted to the Christian faith. This is a remarkable development in a country where the police force has a reputation for being rife with corruption. Through his enthusiastic involvement in evangelism he earned the title “Apostle of Evangelism” and became the first general overseer of the Christ Healing Evangelical Church (Worldwide), with its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, and branches in Ireland and the United States of America. He was also the founder and president of the Comprehensive Institute of Christian Theology (COINOCT), Nigeria, a Bible college that has been instrumental to the training of many prominent ministers of the gospel in Nigeria.
LADY EVANGELIST B.A. BAMIDELE
For about six decades, Lady Evangelist and Prophetess Beatrice Ajibike Bamidele have been involved in Christian Ministry. Her evangelistic and prophetic ministry have affected and transformed thousands of lives.
She has worked with various establishments and organizations before venturing into full time ministry under the ministry of her Late Husband- Apostle Michael A. Bamidele.
Prophetess Bamidele is the Mother in Israel of Christ Healing Evangelical Church Worldwide with a network of churches in Africa, Europe and North America. She is the current coordinator of Prophetic Ministry of Christ Healing Evangelical Church World Wide. She lives in Lagos and worship at Christ Healing Evangelical Church (CHEC) International Headquarters, Ketu. She is blessed with a Son and grandchildren.
PST. S. B. OGUNFOWOKAN
Pastor S. B. Ogunfowokan was born into a humble family of late Pa Rueben Oluwaji Ogunfowokan and late Deaconess Esther Oyinlola Ogunfowokan in 1965. He was the fourth born of ten children born into the family.
Pastor S. B. Ogunfowokan got converted in Christ Healing Evangelical Church 44 years ago, 1980 to be precise, under the ministration of Late Apostle M. A. Bamidele. He grew within the leadership of the church, from Children teacher, Sunday school teacher, Youth President, Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor to a Full Pastor.
He was called into the ministry in 1989 and ever since then he has attended numerous theological institutions home and abroad. Currently, he is studying for his doctoral degree in Cross Cultural Missions and Leadership at Lead City University in Ibadan.
