B. Ogunfowokan was born into a humble family of late Pa Rueben Oluwaji Ogunfowokan and late Deaconess Esther Oyinlola Ogunfowokan in 1965. He was the fourth born of ten children born into the family.<\/p><p>Pastor S. B. Ogunfowokan got converted in Christ Healing Evangelical Church 44 years ago, 1980 to be precise, under the ministration of Late Apostle M. A. Bamidele. He grew within the leadership of the church, from Children teacher, Sunday school teacher, Youth President, Youth Pastor, \u00a0Assistant Pastor to a Full Pastor.<\/p><p>He was called into the ministry in 1989 and ever since then he has attended numerous theological institutions home and abroad. Currently, he is studying for his doctoral degree in Cross Cultural Missions and Leadership at Lead City University in Ibadan.<\/p><p>He has p<span data-teams=\"true\">astored<\/span> so many branches of CHEC among which are CHEC Akanimodo 1992 (now CHEC Oshogun) and CHEC Royal Chapel London 2001 respectively. As the Host Pastor of CHEC from 1997-2000, God used him to achieve the following:<br \/>\u2022 Completion of the pastorate building project from the second decking level.<\/p><p>\u2022 Purchase of \u00a0Mercedes Benz for the late G.O., Apostle M.A. Bamidele.<\/p><p>\u2022 Moved the church from society system (Deborah, Esther, Abraham &amp; David societies) to departmental system (Choir, Usher, Evangelism, follow up, Visitation, intercession, welfare, etc)<\/p><p>\u2022 Instead of employing Ministers from outside CHEC, he started an in-house training for Church workers who later became CHEC Ministers today.<\/p><p>\u2022 Introduction of Jacob\u2019s Night which metamorphosed to what is known as \u201cHealing Night\u201d.<\/p><p>After the homecalling of the pioneer General Overseer of CHEC &#8211; Late Apostle M. A. Bamidele in 2007, Pastor S. B. Ogunfowokan emerged as the second General Overseer of CHEC in 2009.<\/p><p>His ministry has affected so many lives within and outside CHEC. His leadership has given birth to two General Overseers of other ministries, Regional Overseer and so many Pastors, Assistant Pastors, Deacon And Deaconesses. He is a teacher of the word and he has ministered in so many countries of the world. His father, Julius Olaiya Ayodele, was a devout Christian and a successful local farmer while his mother, Julianah Bamitale Ayodele, was a fashion designer and a trader. They were both strong and devout members of the Christ Apostolic Church, a strong Pentecostal and apostolic movement in Nigeria till today. He got converted in 1987 during his early day in secondary school at Ayede Ekiti his hometown. His conversion was orchestrated by divine arrangement through the influence of his mother and Evangelist P.A. Olawumi of Christ Healing Evangelical Church Ayede-Ekiti, who eventually led him to Christ.<\/p><p>He started his elementary school at Saint Benedict Primary School Ayede Ekiti with his secondary education following at Ayede Grammar School Ayede Ekiti. From there he proceeded to the then Ogun State Polytechnic to obtain an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Food Science Technology. His theological education started at Comprehensive Institute of Christian Theology where he bagged a Bachelors degree in Theology-BTH. He continued his education at Intercultural Open University USA through Epic Theological Seminary and college in Lagos where he earned a Master in Divinity and Doctor of Theology from EPIC Seminary University, Chicago, USA.<\/p><p>He has since been working in Christ Healing Evangelical Church initially as a clerk but upon his return from school having been called by God to step into full time ministry, he served as a personal assistant to his spiritual father in the faith. Pastor Sam is a Pastor of long-standing experience under the ministry of Late Apostle M. A. Bamidele. He has represented the Church in inter-church quiz competition. He served in the following service group among others: House Fellowship, Choir Department, Sunday school Department, Youth Leader, Senior Lecturer, Registrar, Personal Assistant to the General Overseer, and Member of COINOCT Governing Board.<\/p><p>\u2022 Pastor Samuel Ayodele started his career as a clerk in the National Administrative Office from 1993-1997.<\/p><p>\u2022 He was seconded to Agilti Church during the pioneering stage with Bro. Sheriff Adenowo to support Pastor Falekulo.<\/p><p>\u2022 He was seconded to Akute Church during the pioneering stage with Pastor Atanda to support Pastor Ogunrotimi.<\/p><p>\u2022 A senior lecturer and Registrar in COINOCT from 1999- 2019<\/p><p>\u2022 Associate Pastor at the Headquarters. From 2007-2019<\/p><p>\u2022 Host Pastor, CHEC Headquarters 2019 till date.<\/p><p>\u2022 He has written over 20 books and published 18 books.<\/p><p>Pastor Sam is a humble and dynamic man of God. Apart from focusing on the messages of the church where he serves, which include Evangelism, Healing, Prophetic and Faith; he is skilled in blending contemporary issues with the word of God. He is called with a specific mandate of raising Spiritually Literate Christians through the teaching of the Word of God and developing the saints of God towards a meaningful intimate fellowship with God. In 2003, he married Pastor Adepeju Abiodun Ayodele nee Okunuga his amiable wife and a precious gift to his ministry.
